Position based in Tamatave
Jacarandas is seeking a Food Safety Manager responsible for:
- Implementing Jacarandas’ Food Safety policy
- Managing Food Safety documentation
- Ensuring the attainment of food safety certifications
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of the company’s Food Safety management system
- Overseeing teams involved in Food Safety-related activities
Profile:
- Agronomy Engineer / Bachelor’s in Agronomy, specialized in Food Industry (IAA)
- Experience in the agro-food industry
- Knowledge and proficiency in Food Safety standards: FSSC22000, ISO 9001, HACCP
- Knowledge of Integrated Management Systems
- Proficiency in risk analysis techniques
- Proficient in office software
- Strong writing skills
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams
- Investigative mindset with analytical and synthesis skills
- Proactive approach
- Detail-oriented
