Agency Manager – Antalaha

Position is based in Antalaha, Madagascar. Jacarandas is seeking an Agency Manager who will be responsible for:

  • Contributing to the development of the Antalaha agency.
  • Translating the objectives of the management team into actionable plans by scheduling the various phases of activity implementation in compliance with our quality management system.
  • Ensuring the daily management and effective use of resources provided, in accordance with company policy.
  • Implementing and improving production processes at the distillery (planning, organization, financial management, QHSE approach).
  • Managing activities (planning, budget management, CSR initiatives).
  • Supporting production, leading, and overseeing teams across all site activities.
  • Budgeting needs for project implementation and completion while ensuring operational and financial responsibility.
  • Collaborating with headquarters staff, as well as other agencies and departments, to ensure the implementation of cross-site practices and programs.

Profile:

  • A hands-on professional with an adventurous spirit.
  • Holder of a Master’s degree in agronomy, rural development economics, geography, or management.
  • Detail-oriented, methodical, and organized.
  • A leader with strong managerial skills.
  • Able to work in a multicultural environment.
  • Proficient in written French with strong summarization and writing skills.
  • Proficient in computer tools (MS Office).
  • Knowledge of English is appreciated.
